Booking: 50% of the total service must be paid in advance as the booking confirmation, the rest of the amount will be paid before boarding. If the maritime conditions do not allow you to sail safely, always with the presence of the customer at the base port of the boat, a date change will be proposed and if this is not possible, 90% of the reservation charge will be refunded (with 10% of administration fee). Early cancellation due to a bad weather forecast will not be refunded or rescheduled.  The cancellation by the client results in the total loss of the reservation charge.

Contract: To formalize the contract it is essential to present a personal identification document. The signing of the aforementioned contract implies the acceptance by both parties of the rental conditions.

For rentals without a skipper, a licence is required. For certain boats a crew is mandatory.

Skipper service: 100€ for 1/2 day and 180€ for whole day. Not included in the crew required models.

Guarantee deposit: 800€ in cash or credit card (boats less than 7 meters long). For boats longer than 7 meters, to consult on request. The deposit will be used to cover the damage and loss that the customer may cause to the boat or its equipment. The deposit must be paid prior to boarding. Once the rental is finished, when the boat is returned and the staff of CUSTOM SAILING COSTA BRAVA S.L. review and confirm that it is in the same state in which it was delivered to the client, the deposit will be refunded.

Fuel is only included in prices when it is specified. If fuel is not included then the boat is delivered with a full tank and must be returned with a full tank. If not, an extra cost will be charged for the consumed fuel plus a penalty supplement, which may be deducted from the deposit.

Schedule of boat rentals: Full day from 10h to 18h, 1/2 day morning from 9h30 to 13h30 & 1/2 day afternoon from 14h30 to 18h30.

The boat will be delivered to the corresponding location as stated in the reservation, at the contracted time; It is recommended to arrive 20 minutes in advance to be able to leave at the agreed time. A client's delay does not give the right to extend the rental time beyond that contracted. If due to weather conditions or other unforeseen events the departure must be delayed, this will not imply any reduction on the agreed price, nor changes on the return time of the boat. A penalty may be charged if the boat is returned outside the contracted schedule, which may be deducted from the deposit.

Insurance: CUSTOM SAILING COSTA BRAVA, S.L. has contracted a civil liability insurance policy against third parties that covers the client, as well as an all-risk insurance with excess that covers own damage and third-party damage, including crew, as long as these have not been caused by negligence or misuse of the boat.

Security on board: It is essential to carry the mobile specified in the contract on board during the service, in order to contact or be contacted by CUSTOM SAILING COSTA BRAVA, S.L. in case of emergency. It is not allowed to exceed the maximum number of people on board than those specified for the contracted vessel. Nor can you enter, stay in, or get out of the water with the engine running.

High season (HS): from 1/7 to 31/8 (both included).
